Versatility is amazing

This is the most versatile helmet I've ever seen, especially for the price. However, it has a very round-shaped fit. My head is slightly oval and an HJC XL is very comfortable. On the GM67 the XL was way too tight in the forehead. Fortunately, the XL fit my wife very nicely (she normally wears a L in HJC). I liked the other features of the helmet so ordered another in an XXL. The fit was much better, but still a little tight in the forehead. I thought the XXXL would probably be too large overall so I removed the lining and shaved a little foam off the shell and that solved the problem. You can also get different thickness liners and cheek pads to customize the fit, but the shell itself fits very round.

I use the helmet open face with the peak visor and my wife uses the face shield. For the colder months I'll use the face shield along with the optional jaw set/breath box. An electric face shield is also available if you want to use the helmet for snowmobiling. Is there anything this thing won't do?

The drop down sun shade is much darker than the one on my HJC and works very well. It drops down far enough so the bottom is not in your line of vision. It fits fine over my wife's glasses, but there isn't a lot of room and could be a problem if you have large glasses. Cooling actually works pretty well. It has ear pockets for speakers and our Sena Bluetooth system fits like a glove using the clamp.

Bottom line: Looks good, amazing feature set, unbeatable value. Would be the perfect helmet if it had a more neutral-shape fit. If your head is more round-shaped, and you want maximum versatility, then this is the helmet you've been waiting for.

Yes the helmet met my needs but a couple days later it went on sale agin for $ 20 less .thanks for heads up

Excellent helmet!

The GMAX GM67S is a great helmet for the price point! Plenty of operable/useful vents and the interchangeable shield/visor is a big plus! The optional light kit/RF dongle is a great feature to add to your safety!
