Great product worth the money

To begin with the package arrived after 1 day. I placed an order on march 4th at 6 am and I got it on march 5th at 12pm. +1 for shipping, and consider this guys: ground ups!!! The item was intact and well secured. It came with everything that should be in the package and the size was right, just as ordered. However even though I wear helmets of large size I find this particular one tiny bit to small. It is not a big issue if you have short hair but I would love it much more for being 1/4 or maybe 1/3 of an inch wider. Almost every other helmet this size did not have this problem. The solution is easy: stretch the inner padding (which is removable) by simply soaking it in water for 1-2 days and drying it. It does work. Overall it fits perfectly and does not move on your head at all. The straps are of quality and secure the helmet well. However after a short time it did irritate my skin a little. I do have a very sensitive skin so I do not believe it would be an issue for m ost of you out there. I did loosen the straps and found it more comfortable while following the safety rules from DOT keeping it fairly secure. The helmet was still in place and did not move on my head. The lens in amazing. It is easy to deploy and is clear. It is also removable but this is not that easy - want to know how? Try it yourself. It took me like 30 min. It is swappable but i don't think they make them different color yet. No scratches or machine finish on it. Very high quality and clear view. The model I bought is flat black. It is simply as smooth as you could wish for and as high quality as you could ask of best brands out there. For the price you got yourself a helmet of twice the value you paid with unique feature of deploy able lenses. Overall if you are looking for a fairly cheap half helmet that will deliver and most likely, like in my case, exceed the expectations, look no further and get it.

Great Helmet

After fighting with a Bell Drifter for several years, I finally tried this helmet. It is a bit tight, and that is OK as it doesn't shift around during riding at speed (note: the large and x-large helmets are the same size, just more padding in the large - so get the large and the padding will compress quickly). The pull down visor is an extra treat, I only use it above 50mph, but it really settles down the vibrations I usually get from my Panoptics - and it looks very cool as well. I've had this for 4 months now, could not recomend it more highly - worth a try.

If you wear glasses...this it the HELMET for YOU!!!

I've put on over 3,000 miles in the last three months (in Florida!!) and this is by far the best helmet I have ever worn. I wear glasses and can't get any decent wrap-arounds...so I was looking for a 1/2 helment with some kind of a visor. When I finally found the GMax I couldn't believe it!!! I can now wear my Oakley prescription glasses (not sport glasses) pull down the shield and I'm good to go...No Bugs, Dirt, Grime, Rocks you name it hitting me in the eyes anymore!!! Have recieved positive comments everywhere I go...everyone loves the pull down shield!!!! (as do I) Whoever the idiot is that gave this helmet a 1 star rating because it didn't fit is a whoos...get a grip and order another size, not everyone's head fits the same size with what ever you're wearing numnuts!!! Another PLUS is the ventilation this helmet offers and here in Florida if you're going to wear a helmet when you ride you had better have some kind of ventilation in your helmet and the GMax offe rs just that!!! Go to UTube and watch the reviews and they'll say almost the same thing I've said in my review...this is a GREAT helmet...get one and I'm sure you'll be very pleased you did.
