Shoei RJ-Platinum R

Replaced my 8 year old Shoei RJ-Platinum with this updated model. This new helmet is more comfortable than the older model and is lighter weight. A little more difficult to put on and take off because of the cheek padding that the older model did not have. I consider that minor because this helmet meets the newest Snell 2010 standards in addition to DOT certification. I like that the liner is replaceable and you can buy cheek pads in different thicknesses to customize the fit. This is a premium helmet - your head is worth it.

Great but just a bit expensive

Great helment. Been using it for about a week and love the look and construction of it. Just wish it was a bit cheaper; but I still bought it at that price and don't regret it.
