Vintage style chrome strip around the opening is pure class and only available on a Biltwell. The new liner now has detail stitching and contrasting ventilated panels in the top. The embossed goggle strap has a new shape and an improved snap. Helmets are non-DOT approved and meant for novelty purposes only.

Fits very well and I have a large melon on my shoulders! Also fits my girlfriend well and she has a much smaller head….

Great fit, definitely not a great quality shell.

I own a Biltwell Hustler DOT Approved helment and I bought this as a secondary helmet. I had assumed that it was going to be the same shell with different non-DOT-approved lining - it isn't. There's much more flex to the shell plastic and while I can assume that it will protect better than nothing, it's not the same shell as the DOT.

However, the fit is dead on. It's got the killer vintage styling and doesn't give you a bulb head like the DOT approved. It's one size fits all, so I was skeptical if it would fit my size M~L head, but it fits great. I guess you just have to choose whether you want style with lower standards of safety or a giant bulb-head with a little more safety.
